Long time

So I just realized it has been quite some time since I last wrote something. Lots has gone on. Turned 23, got a full time contract to be in Toronto till next December. Started teaching yoga at a fitness studio , allowing me teach 3 yoga classes a week. My meditation practice has really been taking me on an amazing journey within in myself. Meditation can really shows you how powerful the mind, but also how powerful your inner self can be. It is defiantly a bigger part in being a yogi. My meditation instructor a couple of weeks ago, say that I was yogi. It dawn on me that before I thought the term yogi meant someone who practiced and was good at the physical poses, the asanas. But now is so much more. I am on spiritual quest of the journey of myself and my inner peace, bring balance and freedom to my being. Yoga is not just about physical poses, it a way of life, and way of being. A Personal experience unique to the individual to bring about transformation. So when she called me a yogi, I was wow no, now I am truly learning what it takes to be a yogi, and the dedication you have to have to yourself. Yogi is some who practices yoga, which means union within, in sanskrit. It about finding the union, as well share the union with all those around and in everything you experience.

The biggest decision that has arose is my new goal and plan to move out to Vancouver and see what there is there for me, yoga, outdoor education, and life. I will be heading out once I have finished my contract at the outdoor education centre in the coming fall.

I am really glad the universe gave methe contract there. Not only is it a very support place to work at, the friendship there are honest, it allows me to be outside with nature teaching. A passion I defiantly have. It will also allow me to do some more traveling, yoga training, and save.

I am also aiming to go to Thailand or India this summer. I am researching and waiting to see what comes my way, so stay tuned for that adventure.

I have also been recently baking a whole lot. Ginger-molasses cookies, white chocolate chip cinnamon sugar cookies, and my new one oatmeal-molasses muffins.

The new year is approaching, and as I reflect on the past year I see imagines of great accomplishments, and self transformation. I think it is important to take note at how proud you are of your own accomplishments. Just to highlight a few things, I graduated university, traveled to El Salvador with dear friend, backpacked Guatemala with two friends, took my 200 hr yoga teacher training in Guatemala as well as got trained in Thai massage. I moved in with a good friend downtown . Got a contracted job, teach 3 yoga classes a week . . wow the list can just go on.

Ending off before the new year, I want to wish anyone who reads this a very prosperous new year. That all your goals, and ambitions manifest. Your spirit is filled with bliss, positivity, compassion, and love. Namaste!
