November has been a month of great transformation, tons of power and space creating. I decided at the beginning of the month that the best decision for me to move forward in my yoga career was to move on from living with roommates, and find my own 1 bedroom apartment. The search was not easy. This is not the best time to find a place, with the holidays and just the busy time of year, so great cheap places were a diamond in the rough. But the day after my birthday celebration, I was fustrated about my current living situation, (too many people living in one apartment). I went on walk to clear my thoughts, then got home and checked craigslist and found a listing. I immediately called and they said they could show the place in a hour. I was excited. The rest was history. Great price, only 100 dollars more then what I was paying to live in a 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of Little Italy.
The apartment is a great space. It is ontop of a Janitorial supply store. 3 blocks away from my old apartment. I find it interesting how the universe brought me right back to my old neighbourhood. Dufferin and Dupont to me an area that is unchartered by most people. It's quiet, and the energy of the area is very clam.
I begun my move yesturday. I love when the universe just picks you up and takes you for a ride. On November 10th (my birthday) I told my roommates I was moving out by Jan 1st, but most likely in December, a week later I had found a place and told them I was moving the weekend of November 28th. When you can just let go, and trust in the source and in yourself anything can come your way.
I'm excited to have my own space. As a serious and dedicated yogi I am excited to have place where I can freely practice, bring Thai yoga clients over, and build my private yoga students up and have space for them. I am also excited to hold satsangs at my place. I really want to build a strong meditation community.
Life is great!
