So yesturday was a full day of rain. As mentioned Kristina and I went to the Dalai Lama's doctor Yeshi Dhroden. He is this cute 90 year old monk, he just pressed some pressure points and then asked me whats up. I talked about my cronic sinus headaches, he gave me at set of herbal balls to take for 3 days and then have to go back to give him a urine sample. After that he will give me stuff for an extended period in hopes the headaches never come back! So hoping for that to happen!
After hanging with Tristian and Winston (friends from England/Spain), Kristina met up and we went to see this Tibet Undercover documentary, a must see. Its about a tibetian refugee, now a British citizen going back to Tibet to do interviews and digging. Very eye opening, learning so many things, already feeling like I know a fair bit. The brutality was just crazy! Defiantly sparked my passion even more and made me want to go back to do my master, further explorinh Buddhism and the environmental social movement. India is defiantly making me rethink my goals for the next bit of time. There will defaintly be more information to come on Tibetian issues on this blog!
Right now we are having this amazing conversation with two travelers (an Indian and her friemd who is from Spain). The conversation was so academically stimulating. Politics, economics, social amd enviromental topics, love it!!
The most amazing thing happened last night. I was sitting waiting for the video to start and then I see a familar face. My friend Anna who I met in Livingston, Guatemala. We bonded really well there. She painted blue stars on my shorts, I wear them all time because of the stars. Brought them with me to India!
