Realizing that it was the full moon last night it made complete sense why I was so indecisive in travel plans the days comimg up to it. But the decision came. I have quite the community building here in McLeod Ganj. Meeting fellow international yoga instructors, travelers and meditators and many of them seem to wanna to hop on with our new plans. So I am staying here for another week and training at the Himayalan Iyengar Centre until Monday. I'm pretty excited for it because the centre stresses to enter each day with the beginner mind. Although we are all well practiced students we are suppose to approach each asana like its our first time. I am glad that I am doing this instead of going to Rishikesh because I can do yoga and in the afternoon I can volunteer teaching English to monks and refugees.
The new plan is very exciting. . . Kristina and I are going stay here for the week. Both volunteering, I'm doing yoga training and she is doing tibetan painting classes. On Monday we are going to catch the bus to Manili with some new friends and hang out there. It sounds like a far more touristy town, with lots adventure stuff to do like rock climbing and paragliding. I think we both need a bit of fun like that, especially after all the yoga and volunteering. After a few days there we're are going to embark on the 30hour bus ride to Leh Ladek. It is at the very north of India, over 3000metres high, filled with old Buddhist kingdom building.
I love that the adventure just got more diverse!
