Such a relaxing day we had yesturday. Kristina and I ventured off to the trail of Tibetian flags in the forest to take photos, as it was pouring rain when we went. We both defiantly needed that time with each other to go into our photography space. Got some amazing shots. We then met up with the boys and hiked to a beautiful waterfall. We took our time which was great. Jess and Stef decided to go off on their own to do a bigger mountain hike. When we got to the waterfall and decided to climb down all the slippery rocks and little falls. The waterfall came out of the mountains.
That night the boys, Stef and I decided to have our first night of silly fun. Jess got sick and was resting, Krisina just took a chill night. So we went out and got a collection of street food, which seems to be really safe as tourist are always eating it here and mostly tibetian food. We then got some bottles of cheap wine and found an old layered parking lot and sat under the stars and moon (first clear night since being in India), with mountains and forest all around. It was such a great dinner with great conversations. We then got some more drinks and hung out at the Si Lankans hotel and just chilled. There isn't much of a night life here, except on Saturday night, but we turned our Wednesday night to a Saturday, as the Sri Lankans were leaving to Maneli (another foothill tourist city).
Today we are off to go see the Dali Lama's doctor. He sees you for only 50 rupees ($1.2 CAD) for the visit and a week of medicine. Extra if he feels you need a month of a more of meds. The meds are all natural and when you visit you don't tell him anything, pee in a bottle and he looks at it, feels ur body and then he tells you whats up. So I am quite excited for it!
