Its my last weekend before I head to India on Tuesday. . . It's sinking that I am really going, and I am getting super excited! It's almost surreal right now. I got an e-mail from my friend Stef who just arrival in Delhi and is a waiting me, Kristina and Jess to arrive. Soon the smells, then noises and the energies of India will be embracing me, and I will be embracing them whole heartedly.
I just did a double practice of yoga today. An tough class where as we practiced we focussed on this quote "To know yourself is to also forget yourself" What a powerful quote that was for me during the practice. I finally got to a pose that has been challenging on. . . Eka Pada Rajakapotasana or King Pigeon. Its been a challenge for me for awhile. . . but my body was open and ready to go fully into the pose, and I am so happy to be able to express it! Not only is it a beautiful pose but to me it represent growth, and transformation. . . as pose I knew of since I begun my yoga voyage but was not open enough to reach it. Through discovering and advancing myself in the practice I was able to it. Practice makes perfect *wink wink*.
