Au Revoir McLeod Ganj!

McLeod Ganj (upper Dharamshala) has been my home for 2 weeks. What a place this is, mountains, clouds and Tibetans attempting to live their life and keep whatever they can of their culture alive. When we came here we instantly started to make friends and this community started to build. Running into friends as you walk down the street, going on hikes with them, etc. It was defaintly one of the reason why this place captured us to stay. But at last all things come to an end, and today we are taking the 10hour bus ride to the town of Maneli. It actually isn't that far away but because of the mountains and access to roads, the route is quit winding. Hard to beleive there is just over two weeks left of the trip. I tried to change my flight to stay for 2 more week. I contacted both my travel website and the airlines, and both gave me a quote $1000 to change my flight! Just rediculous, that is basically the same price my roundtrip. I guess it was the universe telling that I need to be back in Canada for thw two weeks before work. Hopefully, I can be up at camp for bit of that time.
