Sick after coming home from India. . Ohh My!!

Arriving home to the embrace of my mom and papa felt good, always love and appreciate their warm touch when I come home from travelling. My mom and aunt greeted me at home, my dad was working. We spent the afternoon catching up, and having some tea. The evening consisted of me rinsing and soaking all my indian clothes and fabrics in vinegar and water. (Fact, an light acid wash stops fabrics from bleeding dye.) I had a great sleep, but the next morning I started to feel a bit off. Tired easily, and my appetite was lessening. Feeling feverish in the evening, I took it as jet legged and went to bed early. Waking up at 12am only to find out I had a fever of 102.7 degree celsius, oh my in deed! Good thing I had Doctor Mom! Waking up Friday feeling better, tylenol brought the fever down, but after a mid morning sleep I awoke in sweats and the fever had sparked back up. My mom and I decided it was time to go to the doctors, just to check things out. The visit reveal an unknown reason why there was a fever as my body besides for the heat, was healthy. Taking some blood tests, and samples to check for parasites and bacteria. I fainting for the first time ever during blood test (due to the fever). That was a very interesting experience. Around 10 o'clock I began to get my appetite back, having some soup and toast. When I awoke today my fever had dropped and kept on dropping till mid day I was my normal self again. We are not sure what the fever was caused by, but my doctor says it was good my body could fight it off by itself. My doctor suggested it might be acclimatization and maybe a response to the lower altitude. My friend Kristina who I travelled with is also facing the same fever.
I am quite glad I returned to my normal self as tomorrow I can leave to go work at my camp for a week. Which I am so pumped for. To be around camp staff and the energy of campers is always such a great feeling. As well as the grounds of my camp and Lake Vernon are always so beautiful.
