A 10 hour bus ride that turned into a 12 hour bus ride due to a flat tired and rain, we arrived in Manali. My friend Kim, who I am traveling with now ran into a friend and lead us to this little hotel called Rockway Hotel near Old Manali. Its a beautiful hike along a mountain by a gushing river, away from the touristy business of Old Manali.
After spending two weeks in Dharamshala a realization was that we are not in "Little Tibet" anymore. *Which is what McLeod Ganj began to feel like. There is a Tibet settlement just outside the town. I am pretty much just hanging out here, very chilled vibe. Defiantly allowing me to reflect on all I learned in McLeod Ganj. There is not a whole lot to do here, unless your into over night treks and some extreme sports. It is nice that it is not raining all the time. . .so far the past 2 days have been sunny, but rained all night. . .which is great, cause it also cools the the night and the morning. Heading to a jewelery making class. It is a really creative technique, but apparently I am not suppose to teach other people, he exports his designs. It similar to the hemp and leather bracelets I do from Camp Tawingo.
Heading to Leh, Ladakh tomorrow or the next.
